Together for a #PeriodFriendlyWorld: BEMORE Sisters Outreach 2025

🩸 In Commemoration of World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2025
Theme: “Together for a #PeriodFriendlyWorld”

The BEMORE Sisters Network is proud to host a meaningful and impactful Orphanage Outreach on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, at Hope Orphanage. As proud beneficiaries of the BEMORE Empowered Initiative, we understand the power of support, sisterhood, and opportunity — and now, we are paying it forward.

This outreach is about more than donations; it’s about making a difference. We are committed to:

  • Advocating for menstrual hygiene awareness

  • Distributing essential sanitary supplies

  • Educating young girls to combat period poverty and promote dignity and self-confidence

🌸 Together, we are creating safe spaces where girls can learn about their bodies without shame and access the products they need to thrive.

None of this would be possible without the unwavering support and vision of Dr. (Chief) Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, the founder of the BEMORE Empowered Initiative — fondly known to us as Grandma. Her leadership and tireless advocacy for the empowerment of young women continue to inspire us to be changemakers in our communities.

💪🏽❤ Her legacy teaches us that empowered girls grow to become women who empower others.

We invite you to join us — to take action, to raise awareness, and to stand with us as we build a future where no girl is left behind because of her period.

Together, we are stronger. Together, we are BEMORE.
Together, let’s create a #PeriodFriendlyWorld.
