From Bemore to Leadership: My Journey to Becoming Chief Clerk of SUG
Yesterday marked a defining moment in my journey as I was officially sworn in as the 35th Chief Clerk of the Student Union Government (SUG) at Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo State. This achievement is not just mine—it is a testament to the power of empowerment, mentorship, and the belief that young girls can lead and make a difference.
I owe deep gratitude to Her Excellency, Dr. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, for creating the Bemore Girls Foundation, a platform that transformed my mindset and equipped me with the skills to excel. As a 2018 Bemore girl under SDG7, I was trained in leadership, innovation, and self-confidence—lessons that have shaped the person I am today.
A special thanks to my grandmother, whose unwavering belief in my potential has been a driving force. She made me realize that as a girl child, I can Bemore, achieve more, and break barriers.
This is just the beginning of my leadership journey, and I remain committed to inspiring, leading, and paving the way for other young girls to rise and take their place in leadership.
To every young girl out there—dream big, work hard, and never stop believing that you can BEMORE!
