BEMORE Summer Bootcamp 2024: Empowering Girls in Solar Technology Amidst Nationwide Blackout
Solar power to Nigeria! BEMORE to the World!!!. Over to BEMORE to continue to train our girls in solar technology and unleash their interest in the sector. Solar power is a disruptive but innovative energy that can bring about a positive change in the electricity generation sector if only we invest in human capital development and research. NEPA, or whatever various names they have metamorphosed into, is a leopard and can never change its spots. The state of the power sector, with its notorious acronym NEPA, is a huge embarrassment to the nation and has not ceased to live up to the alias: Never Expect Permanent Light Always. As many countries in the world shift their focus to renewable energy to meet their energy needs given the hazardous impact of fossil fuels on climate change, Nigeria, as a matter of urgency, must be serious in the development of the renewable energy sector and channel the humongous investment for revamping NEPA to solar technology. Waiting for NEPA to give Nigeria light is like waiting for “Jesus to come again,” because you and I know that NO Jesus is coming anywhere!
